A fair signal.

Alerts are a small one-time purchase. If the radar is not doing its job, you should not be paying for silence.

Right now, alerts and hut watches are free — nothing is being charged, so there is nothing to refund. The rest of this page describes how refunds will work once paid alerts are live; it does not apply while HutRadar is in free launch.

When we refund

If our monitoring was down for more than 24 continuous hours at any point while your alert was active, meaning we simply weren't checking availability for a full day or more, we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. We track our own uptime; if you suspect this happened, email us and we'll check.

When we don't

We can't refund an alert just because your tour never became bookable. That depends on other people cancelling, which is outside anyone's control. We also can't refund a booking you missed because you didn't act fast enough on an alert; freed-up beds go to whoever books first.

How to request one

Email support@hutradar.com with the email address your alert is under. Refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe.
