The Berliner Höhenweg crosses the high Zillertal Alps from the Gamshütte to the Karl-von-Edel Hütte, linking seven classic huts beneath glaciated three-thousand-metre peaks. Long stages, steep passes and exposed sections make this a serious high route for experienced mountain walkers.
